“Il Borro” has an intense purplish color, with purple reflections. The bouquet is intense, full, concentrated, with notes of undergrowth and hints of spices. The flavor is dry, full-bodied and with soft, consistent and well-blended tannins, remarkable persistence.
It has a deep, intense and dark colour, with violet notes. The bouquet immediately shows the complexity of this unique wine. The wine is intense, elegant, rich in notes of black and red fruits, followed by a touch of undergrowth with a finish of spices such as green and black pepper and balsamic vinegar. In the mouth this wine is rich, complex, powerful, balanced with elegant tannins. The finish is long, spicy.
Appetizers and canapés, pasta with tomato sauce, aged cheeses, stewed meat and game meat such as deer or wild boar, as well as all baked red meat in general. It goes well with turkey and duck meat.
