Description
The wine “Il Bianco di Ciccio” originates from a blend between a typical Abruzzo grape variety, Trebbiano, and an international white grape variety, Chardonnay. The percentages lean in favour of the former, so much so that the Chardonnay contributes only 20% of the final blend. In the vineyard, agriculture is conventional, but integrated pest management is used to reduce the use of chemical substances in the rows. The grapes are softly pressed and then cryomacerated. The must then ferments at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks. The final refinement in stainless steel tanks lasts a few months, followed by bottling and release.
“Zaccagnini’s ‘Il Bianco di Ciccio’ is a fragrant and aromatic wine from Abruzzo, which is very pleasant to share at the table. It is a blend of Trebbiano and Chardonnay with a fine and elegant profile and a lovely freshness in the mouth. A bottle that comes at a truly enviable price, and which is therefore a candidate for the role of quality everyday wine: the important thing is to always have a good reserve at your disposal!
