BRUNO ANDREU PURE PETIT-VERDOT IGP PAYS DOC

A rare grape variety originated from Bordeaux that has now been included in the range of Pays d’Oc wines. Total destalking of the harvest. Traditional winemaking process with daily pumping and pumping over & release at the end of the fermentation. Long time  maceration. After malolactic fermentation, racking before bottling. 12 months ageing in French new oak from Radoux’s family (extra-fine bean, mild heating, monthly topping up).
Planted on clay-limestone soil, the 25-year-old vines face east-west. Guyot pruning. Heavy Bordeaux bottle with natural cork and red cap. Lay-down case of 6 bottles 480 btls/pallet(Europe)

Deep garnet hue with dark purple reflections. Spicy nose with coffee and liquorice aromas. Subtle orange peel bouquet. Round on the palate with hints of gunflint. Scents of undergrowth and liquorice. Very harmonious and balanced wine. Tannins present but very fine and silky. The particularity of this cuvée lies in its very pleasant and fresh minty finish, which makes it a unique wine!
