Description
For the lovers of all things elegent and delicate. This wine which has been made from the finest Marsanne fruit found in the vineyard is a common variety in the Rhone Valley in France, but less so here in Margaret River, Infact when we last checked we were the only producers in our region to make a straight Marsanne and we love this wine.
The fruit is crushed and destemmed, then pressed at low pressure so only the cuvee cut was used. Wild fermented in tank. Matures on lees for 5 months before preparation for bottling, no fining no filtration.
The nose offers aromas of musk, jasmine, pears, apricots, honeydew lemon and lemon scented thyme. This is followed through onto the palate with many layers of flavours from the fresh floral arrangement to the spicy savoury notes. This wine is aromatic, delicate, elegant and all about flavour and texture.
