“Alessandro Dal Borro tells our story, that of a territory and of the men who live it. This product is the result of Ferruccio Ferragamo’s great passion for Il Borro and for one of the most representative varieties of his terroir, the “Syrah”. A product which reminds us in its organoleptic characteristics, the nobility and grandeur of the historical character of the estate from which it takes its name”.
It has a deep, intense and dark colour, with violet notes. The bouquet immediately shows the complexity of this unique wine. The wine is intense, elegant, rich in notes of black and red fruits, followed by a touch of undergrowth with a finish of spices such as green and black pepper and balsamic vinegar. In the mouth this wine is rich, complex, powerful, balanced with elegant tannins. The finish is long, spicy.
Appetizers and canapés, pasta with tomato sauce, aged cheeses, stewed meat and game meat such as venison or wild boar, as well as all baked red meat in general. It goes well with turkey and duck meat. In general, where roasted or grilled meat is very common, it is the ideal partner to accompany it.
