This cuvee is a dedication to our childhood. This exceptional terroir, made of basalt and pebble, offers a true authenticity in the appellation. A blend of Syrah and Grenache, this cuvee is aged for 12 months in French oak from Maison Dargaux in Burgundy. The wine has a round palate with notes of blackcurrant, liquorice. It is delicate and complex with elegant tannin that will bring something to refresh the most experienced of palates. It reflects the elegance and the unique expression of the Pézenas terroir.
Black opaque color with thin dark ruby edges. Leggy. Plum, sour cherry and black currant in nose. Prunes, chilli pepper and oak on palate. Tannic. Acidic. It also has some plastic notes from the cork. Not bad, but too hursh… and this taste of plastic… not the best touch.
